Hardware & Lumber Ltd. supports causes that help with the rebuilding of families, the welfare of children as well as organizations that have a direct, positive impact on the communities we serve.


We had a team of 100 H&L family members at this year's staging of the Sigma Corporate Run. Thanks everyone who came out to support the event and the cause. Sigma raised over $52 million dollars that went to the Lupus Foundation, May Pen Hospital and the Diabetes Association.


Thanks to True Value's Painting a Brighter Future programme, we were able to donate up to 30 gallons of EasyCare paints to 19 schools across Jamaica, through our H&L Agro and H&L Rapid True Value stores. Thanks to all our family members who participated in Labour Day projects at select schools to help with the repainting project. Kudos Team! Thanks also to Fleetwood who collaborated with us to provide much needed painting accessories to help with the projects. Thanks all around to everyone who came together to make this possible!


All hands on deck! The Hardware and Lumber team joined the UDC to clean-up the Hellshire Bay Beach on Saturday, September 16, 2017, in observation of International Coastal Clean-up Day. September 2017.


For the first time we hosted a Christmas Treat for the Callaloo Mews Basic School with volunteers from the Head Office and H&L Agro and H&L Rapid True Value at Spanish Town Road. December 2017. H&L supported the IMAJ Education Assistance Programme that provides scholarships and bursaries for an early childhood institution, children of construction workers in high schools, students attending the University of the West Indies, the University of Technology, and HEART College of Construction Services. March 2018.


The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) is the latest corporate entity to donate to the Caribbean Love Now campaign, an initiative in aid of rebuilding programmes in islands affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria.
